Patient Participation Group

Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) meets to provide a forum for discussion about the practice.

About the Patient Participation Group

We invite you to join Thorpe Road Surgery’s Patient Participation Group (PPG) which meets bi-monthly, at the Surgery, as a link between all patients and the Practice.

The group discusses how to help and support the Practice, to improve all aspects of individual’s health care, ensuring patients are kept informed and involved in their own healthcare decisions.

The PPG welcomes patients from a cross-section of the Practice, including e.g. young people, workers, retirees, patients with long term health conditions, and those from non-British ethnic backgrounds.

You could join the PPG if you have an interest in healthcare issues, and would like to contribute your views to the PPG, and keep abreast of changes in the Practice, by receiving bulletins, newsletters, Practice news, and minutes of PPG meetings.

Please complete our sign-up form if you would like us to contact you occasionally by email with news updates and information.

Please be assured that the PPG will not reply to any medical or health information questions.

The information you supply will be used lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).  This gives you the right to know what information is held about you, and ensures that this is handled accordingly.
